Senseless Sense

Every day I turn on my TV, I get flashes of destruction, man inhumanity to man and just plain old evil.

And seeing such darkness may make one wonder what is the plan of God in all these chaos;  that is a question I cannot answer but one thing I am absolutely sure of is God's plans are always for good.

It is so easy to direct our anger and disappointments towards God in the midst of chaos but in such times that is when we need to believe in Him the most and trust in His ability to make things right.

So in the midst of the darkness and destruction, all we can do is speak up, act, hope, pray and trust that things will someday make sense in the world.

Let us hope for a better World. Let us hope for a better Nigeria.

May the souls of the innocent children that died in the recent bomb blast in Yobe State continue to rest in peace.

The article by Joyce Meyer after the cut reiterates my words above.

 Prevent Disappointment by Joyce Meyer
They trusted in, leaned on, and confidently relied on You, and were not ashamed or confounded or disappointed.
—Psalm 22:5

There is nothing unusual or wrong about initial feelings of disappointment, but it is what we do from that point forward that makes all the difference in the world.

Absolutely nobody gets everything they want all the time, so we need to learn how to deal properly with disappointment.

Trusting God completely and believing that His plan is infinitely better for you than your own will prevent you from being disappointed with God.

You might feel anger toward your situation, but don't ever be angry with God.

When you get angry, you naturally want to lash out at someone, but it is unwise to make God your target.

He is the only One Who can help you and truly comfort you; therefore, it is much better to run to Him in your time of pain than away from Him.

Feedback: I believe we are all put on earth to make it a better place; do share with us what you think we all have to do to make sense out of all the senseless chaos around us?

Knowledge shared is knowledge used; so feel free to drop your comments below
